Hmm, I don't personally know anybody who write original one-shots/vignettes like I do but I sometimes wish I did for the purpose of exchanging and commenting on/reviewing each other's works. Some of my associates are writers, but typically of fanfiction and long-form works. The former is difficult for me to read because I am not familiar with the source material, and the latter is more investment than I'd like.

I've made some games for the Bakery (my comic website's own BBS):

- Baketionary > based on Web Banana

- Focaccia > a community drawing board, like a mix of Tegaki and wplace

- Snake > it's snake

I will be adding a few more games at some point, though I'm not sure what else to add. The ones I have started are a dress-up game, an adaptation of WeB DoRaMa (collaborative story writing), Sokoban, and a virtual item shop that lets you give gifts to the website's characters to unlock extra graphics/stories.

I finally got my tilde.town account although I'm not sure what to put in it yet! I'm in three tildes now and I'd like the three to have different content instead of just endlessly mirroring each other.

Right now, I use ~club to post original fiction on Gemini. I'm thinking of maybe using ~town for art and ~green for informational articles?

The drive I use as a back-up for my art files is corrupted... ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡

I do luckily have copies of my files so no data was lost, but it is a waste of a good hard drive. I'll need to get a new one.

I have just created my account here recently. I'm not entirely sure how active I will be (I have too many blogs as is) but I really like the layout of this website, it reminds me of old Japanese BBS's.

I have been working on my own personal BBS-like recently and I've worked out a lot of the kinks as of late. Today, I managed to quickly whip up an embeddable widget as well similar to this website or status.cafe that allows users to embed their latest post to their website (and I found out how to make it work even with eg Neocities' strict CORS policies). It's something I just made for fun, though: I highly doubt a single person on my BBS will actually have a reason to use it. I don't think a single one of them actually has a personal website. My BBS isn't geared for 'smolweb' audiences per se, and it's mostly populated by people who visit my website to read my webcomic.

I'd like to add a small 'Arcade' feature to it for simple web games based on Perl/CGI games from the late 90's that used to populate Japanese BBS's. The WeB BaNaNa game here is really cute and I'll probably write my own version in PHP at some point.

Recently, I've been really busy with work, so making these sorts of micro-updates to my website has helped me feel a little productive and 'useful', but at the same time it also makes me feel like I'm wasting time, because I have other priorities as well.

Oh well. I might change my CSS for my nikki profile eventually.
