the other day a girl at work (a customer in the drive thru) complimented my eyeshadow, which ive had a couple compliments of bc its glittery, but she said, "you look like a fairy" and i got so excited because yes!!!!!

being a glittery fairy elf is exactly the vibe i want, and it made me so happy :,)

i felt very seen

aaahh!!! i have no internet... have had no internet for 3 days. there was a maintenance and now an outage in our area. i am frustrated because i am using a lot of mobile data to hotspot things. but my pc does not play well with the hotspot, so i have not been able to work on my site.

frustrating since it's my current hyperfixation!

i spent the other day catching up chores and today i have been painting the living room, so i guess i have been productive in its absence, but still...

i am quite frustrated with it not being fixed.

in other news, i forgot my painkillers for work last night and really suffering the consequences. im glad someone could take my shift today, so my feet could rest a bit.

today it is my mum's birthday. she would have been, 65, i think, if she was still on this mortal coil. so today we are having a nice family home-cooked dinner and watch a movie on dvd... wonder what we should watch?

it will be nice (hopefully) and we've had a good tidy of the house in prep for dad coming over. i still kinda feel delicate though, i can't shift my headache away even with painkillers :(

i've got some days off to relax and get better though. i want to put my shelves up but i cannot find the drill...

i had a dream the other morning that it was moving day all over again. everyone from work came to help me move into a massive mansion, that was very mid-century modern styled.



however, we also tried to move cookie the same day, and someone left the doors open. he managed to escape!



i think my dreams are taunting me now.
