Lithium batteries have taken over the world! In the olden days everything used removal battery packs, but these days most devices use lithium battery packs which usually aren't able to be easily removed without special tools.
Recently my collection of Digimon virtual pets has grown quite a bit, and the recent devices all use lithium batteries. Out of a desire to prolong the life of these devices for as long as possible I have made an effort to take very good care of the batteries through proper charge and storage techniques. More recently I have compiled a list of every device I own with a lithium battery, and I have extended my spreadsheet to account for all of my devices and not just my Digimon collection.
I am sharing this template as I believe it may be as useful for other people as it has been for me. I encourage you to add all of your devices into the sheet, and make a habit of checking the sheet monthly in order to know which devices need attention. When a device is in storage, try to keep the charge close to 40-60% if it's not frequently used. Power it up from time to time to charge and discharge it. Do not let the device sit at 0% or 100% for too long of a period.
